For my rebranding project, I wanted to choose a topic I knew absolutely nothing about so that my design decisions were not biased and ­solely based on my research. I decided to choose a local tanning and spa salon.

The logo redesign consisted of my professor making me sketch at least 30 variations of my ideas each week. I then went on to create a business card, letterhead and envelope based on the new logo and brand I had developed. I later applied my brand to a number of objects specific to my chosen company. For tanning, I chose tanning glasses and towels, along with t-shirts. At the end of the semester, I finalized the project by creating a brand guideline.
